How It Works

Your files stay with you.

Choose a file, make your changes, and save a new copy. Art of PDF processes your documents in your browser, without an upload or an account.

From file to finish

Three steps. One device.

  1. Choose a file

Pick a tool and open a document from your device.

  2. Make it yours

Set the options you need and preview the result where available.

  3. Save a new copy

Download the result. Your original remains unchanged.

Processing starts on your device. Some tools load a converter or language pack the first time; how quickly the job finishes depends on your device and the file.

Try Compress PDF

Use it whenever you need it

There are no daily usage quotas or sign-up steps. Individual tools may set file or page limits, and very large jobs depend on your browser’s available memory.

What happens to your files

Your browser loads the app and any libraries it needs, then processes your selected documents on your device. Clear the workspace or close the tab to release the files and previews held by the tool. Anything you downloaded stays where you saved it.

When you enter a URL in Web to PDF, the page and its resources may be requested from the website. If the site blocks previews, you can print from the original page or open a local HTML file.
